Cotton rounds have a huge environmental footprint. Not only do they have plastic, it creates a lot of pollution and water waste to produce them.
But don't worry, there is a solution! This kit gives you everything you need to eliminate disposable cotton rounds from your life forever. It includes 7 reusable pads, a storage basket, and a wash bag for them!
Reusable facial pads are a great alternative to makeup remover pads/wipes and cotton balls/rounds. They work for almost anything - makeup remover, facial toner, alcohol to disinfect a wound, ect. A quick wash with your regular laundry and they're ready to go again!
The wash bag included is sewn out of recycled fabric that would have otherwise gone to the landfill. The one pictured is just for example and the actual one you receive with your kit might be a different colored fabric or slightly different size.
The basket is also made with yarn scraps/leftovers. It is one of a kind!
Washing Instructions
Discard used face pads into the washbag throughout the week. At the end of the week, pull the drawstring tight and throw it in the wash with your regular clothes. Hang to dry for best results, but they are dryer safe (may shrink a small amount).
If the storage basket requires washing, place it in the wash bag and wash the same way with the pads, but remove and reshape on the counter to dry.
